Description	by Moliere. Adapted from the French by Amlin Gray Wealthy merchant Orgon has opened his home to the overly-pious church leader, Tartuffe, but while the merchant is away, the church-mouse plays with Orgon’s possessions and family. Will Orgon ever see the true nature of the man he believes to be God's Right Hand? Or will a secret society condemn them all? Tartuffe is a study of hypocrisy, a satire with absolutely serious undertones, and a brilliantly savage comedy on the nature of religious belief. With a new ending and a modern production concept, this version of Tartuffe is one that will resonate with everyone.
